This week we'd like to introduce another member of our in-house tech support team Dan Strait. Dan has been with ICX since December 2019 and is currently a Tier 1 technical support representative. In this role, Dan assists customers both onsite and by phone. He is a five-time winner of our 'Tech of the Week' challenge and a go-getter who can tackle any challenge.
Dan says, "Ever since I was 14, I have had a fascination with computers and IT generally. From that point, it didn't take me long to realize that I was passionate enough about the subject to pursue a career in it. To this day, I have not gotten bored with working on computers. If anything, I enjoy it even more today, thanks to all the additional knowledge I have gained."
Before joining ICX, Dan was a Mobility Support Specialist at Auditmacs. There he held a similar role to ICX and handled various tech support issues from a help desk support center. In this position, he primarily focused on troubleshooting various mobile device issues, including startup, app installations, email setup, and software issues. Before Auditmacs, Dan worked for Best Buy as a Sales Consultant in the computing department.

- A+ Software (May 2019)
- ITIL Foundation (March 2019)
- MOS Powerpoint (June 2016)
- MTA Operating systems (April 2016)
When asked about what he most enjoys about his position, Dan said, "I enjoy learning something new every day and expanding my horizons within the IT world. I also love the satisfaction of solving a complex computer issue for a customer. And I appreciate the challenge of troubleshooting and researching to find a resolution."
